Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using COIParser ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

COIParser provides a platform for parsing ACORD 25 Certificates of Insurance (COIs) into structured data formats including CSV, XLSX, and PDF summaries. The Service uses deterministic parsing rules and does not employ artificial intelligence or machine learning for data extraction.

3. User Accounts

To export parsed data, you must create an account using a valid email address or Google account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Ensuring your account information is accurate and up-to-date

4. Pricing and Payment

COIParser offers the following pricing options:

• Pay-as-you-go Packs: One-time purchases that add export credits to your account. Credits never expire.
• Monthly Plans: Recurring subscriptions that provide a monthly quota of exports. Unused quota does not roll over.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. Monthly subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. Refund Policy

Pack Credits: Non-refundable once purchased, as they never expire.

Monthly Plans: Refunds are not provided for partial months. You may cancel at any time, and your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

6. File Upload and Storage

You may upload PDF files for parsing. You retain all ownership rights to the files you upload. By uploading files, you grant COIParser a limited license to process and store your files for the purpose of providing the Service.

You may delete your files at any time. Deleted files are moved to a trash folder for 7 days before permanent deletion. We are not responsible for data loss resulting from user-initiated deletions.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload malicious files, viruses, or harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Scrape or systematically collect data from the Service
• Abuse rate limits or attempt to overload the Service
• Upload files containing personally identifiable information of others without proper authorization

8. Accuracy of Parsed Data

While we strive for accuracy, COIParser makes no guarantees about the completeness or correctness of parsed data. The Service uses deterministic parsing rules that may not correctly interpret all PDF formats or variations. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of parsed data before relying on it for business decisions.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may suspend or terminate the Service for maintenance, updates, or other reasons with or without notice.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COIPARSER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

11. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the account settings page. Upon account deletion:

• All uploaded files and parsed data will be permanently deleted
• Active subscriptions will be canceled at the end of the current period
• Unused pack credits will be forfeited (non-refundable)
• Your user account and all associated data will be permanently deleted

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which COIParser operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
